It is only fair to write another letter in conjunction with the soon released controversial film The Da Vinci Code.
In my first letter I had shown my total disapproval to Vince Marshall's so-called crusading pilgrimage he wanted to organise to protest against the release of the film.
I am happy that the Curia authorities expressed a more intelligent outlook and gave a logical judgment.
Their understanding concurs with what I expressed in my first letter, namely, that attacks on one's beliefs are not to be counter-attacked by crusading pilgrimages and shouting, but by sound counter arguments and intelligent reasoning.
May this film serve as an eye-opener to many Catholics to start studying their scriptures so as to be well prepared withstand any attacks on their faith.
Even though I am not Catholic, I believe that Catholics in Malta (especially) should take up studying their scriptures more seriously and follow the teachings of Blessed Jesus who I believe in.
