To celebrate pearl week, Classic Jewellers are exhibiting a range of some of the finest and most sophisticated jewellery pieces in the world. These prestigious collections are being brought over courtesy of Nimei and Miluna Pearls and will be exhibited between Saturday and Sunday, May 21, at the Classic Jewellers outlet in Republic Street, Valletta.

Once again, this will be a fantastic opportunity for all jewellery enthusiasts and buyers to view new and exclusive collections that are entirely dedicated to pearls.

The collections include chokers, rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces, all of which look vibrant in their new shades, colour effects and reflections of light.

For this event Nimei has also produced an unprecedented interpretation of the classic string of pearls, which now looks richer and more youthful. The protagonist in this collection is the pearl, which is effectively enhanced by the skilful combination of gold, natural and precious gems.

The collection also includes multi-stringed necklaces and bracelets, in which the new combinations reinvent the 'eternal classics' offering the wearer exclusive style and charm.

The highlight of the collection is the special natural baroque pearl collection with unique one-off pearls, and diamond pendants and rings. These pieces are all hand-made with the pearl being the centre of design and creativity.

Pearls of Joy is also an educational experience on the assembly and production of pearls. Classic Jewellers have also brought over from Japan a collection of loose pearls in different sizes, qualities and colours.

Throughout this week customers will be given detailed information on the cultivation of some of the world's finest pearls, such as the South Sea, Tahitian and the famous Akoja pearls.

Classic Jewellers will also be displaying a number of oysters, as well as samples of the various stages that go into the production of a pearl.

Throughout this week customers spending Lm350 or more on any pearl jewellery will be entitled to a free weekend break for two at the Radisson SAS Golden Sands Hotel, Ghajn Tuffieha.

Throughout Pearl Week Classic Jewellers of Republic Street will be open all day between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. (Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
