I was really shocked when I heard the horrible details of the allegations made by various persons who used to live in church institutions on Bondi+ (April 25 and May 2). If these abuses really happened, then even our nation has had its own "concentration camps".

Despite the fact that these cases are time-barred, I still urge the authorities to investigate these claims and shed light on the whole matter.

More important than that is to investigate what is happening now in the same institutions and ensure all is in order. Better safe than sorry!
