Lately, it has come to my knowledge that a certain amount of artificial honey has been imported. I was also told that this artificial honey, when in Malta, is mixed with some kind of substance and, when put on the market, looks like locally produced...

Lately, it has come to my knowledge that a certain amount of artificial honey has been imported. I was also told that this artificial honey, when in Malta, is mixed with some kind of substance and, when put on the market, looks like locally produced honey. What is worse is that the label on the jar reads: Maltese Honey. As a regular consumer of Maltese honey, I am now having doubts about whether what I am buying is genuine or not.

It would be very much appreciated if someone in authority were to make it known if there exists a laboratory locally where I can take a sample for analysis.
