Airport pilfering (3)

I make no excuses for the alleged thefts from luggage at Malta International Airport, which have recently been reported in The Times.

If this is in fact the case something must be done to stop it happening. But for the life of me I just cannot understand why some passengers put valuables, like money, jewellery and expensive cameras, in suitcases. Always keep those sort of things in hand-luggage.
