Can Maltapost explain why a registered item was not delivered to me after seven days of its arrival at Marsa?

I traced the letter on the tracktrace of Maltpost which said that the item arrived at Maltapost on April 13.

Seeing that this was not delivered by April 20, I went to the local counter to check and was informed that the registered item was there. The person behind the counter, who was very helpful, stated that I was supposed to have been notified. Why after seven days did I not receive any notice?

I would like to ask another question to Maltapost. Why was no delivery carried out by the postman on April 19 at Mellieha? When I phoned the post office at Lija I was informed that the postman was sick. Is this the service Maltapost can offer?

I urge the Malta Communications Authority to take note that the service is in fast decline.
