In Fgura, it has become customary to keep dogs on the roof day and night. In addition, the number of pigeon houses is increasing. In fact my property is surrounded by at least three large dogs and two pigeon aviaries.
The dogs start barking and howling as early as 5 a.m. and stop at day break. This is extremely annoying as they are affecting my sleep pattern to the extent that I am too tired to concentrate at work. As I work in a clinical setting I am concerned that tiredness may one day affect the well-being of my patients. As for the pigeons, they do not stay on their owners' roofs but also perch on my roof and aerial and foul the surroundings with their droppings. Everyone knows that pigeon droppings are a health hazard especially to my young children who like to play on the roof. The pigeons also broke my aerial. In addition, I now find it rather difficult to consider a solar heater or photovoltaic system knowing for a fact that it will be fouled by pigeon droppings.
I therefore ask the respective authorities to regulate this public nuisance through law.
