The 26 artists displaying their works at Phoenix Buildings Gallery, Psaila Street, Sta Venera, use different styles but they have one thing in common: they are all members of the Arts Directory Malta, an initiative aimed at supporting Maltese artists and performers.

Arts Directory Malta seeks to establish a cultural base and to promote it on a national and international level making use of the internet through a dedicated arts and culture portal which can be accessed on www.arts-dm.com.

The brainchild of Robert Cefai, Arts Directory Malta has decided to hold this collective exhibition as its first event.

The artists participating in this exhibition are: Paulene Attard, Marisa Attard, Kevin Attard, Carmel Bonello, Fabio Borg, Alfred Briffa, Jeni Caruana, Rupert Cefai, Alex Dalli, Mariette Fenech, Antonella Grima, Eman Grima, Jennifer Lonfat, Talia Maggi, Pauleen Micallef, Christine Muscat Azzopardi, Olaug Vethal, Gordon Pace Flores, Mark Sagona, Christopher Saliba, Richard Saliba, Joseph Scerri, Joe P. "One of our aims is to expose art in places that are mostly frequented by people," he added.

The exhibition, sponsored by Bank of Valletta, is open daily until Saturday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
