Members of the Employment and Training Corporation's law compliance unit are back from a week-long study tour in the UK on combating illegal employment. They were hosted by Job Centre Plus, part of the Department for Work and Pensions, which is the ETC 's counterpart in the UK.

They took part in field work exercises together with the English fraud investigators, attended live interviews and also listened to live hotline reports on illegal employment.

The aim of the exercise was to exchange expertise on law compliance in the area of unemployment. The visit was made possible through the EU Leonardo da Vinci programme.
