Property consultants join Dhalia

Twelve property consultants who joined Dhalia Real Estate Services have recently concluded a three-week induction and training course in preparation for a career in real estate.

The new consultants were welcomed by Geoffrey Ciantar, Dhalia's HR administration manager, who took the new employees through Dhalia's background and philosophy, explaining that the key to the company's success and a successful career in the industry lies in the individual's capability to offer the highest level of service.

This is not simply to satisfy Dhalia's service standards but more importantly it is what any customer expects.

Internal trainers introduced the newcomers to real estate as a profession and the company's target culture, marketing and internal rules and procedures. Other subjects covered included the process of property purchase, EU and non-EU customers, finance, and closing techniques for property sales.

External trainers covered subjects like customer care, time management, telephone techniques and the art of selling. Notary Roberta Bisazza spoke about the legal aspect of the industry, including deeds, ground rents and taxation laws, while Architecht Elena Borg Costanzi spoke about procdures in respect to permits and MEPA applications.

Other speakers included representatives from the banking sector, who spoke about financial products available related to the property industry.
