The Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD) is offering a B.Sc. (Hons) in Occupational Safety, Health and the Environment through distance learning. It will accept its first student intake on May 13.
The FHRD has also been appointed agent for the School of Architecture and Construction, University of Greenwich. Stuart Allan, B.Sc., M.Sc., MIIRSM, MIOA, principal lecturer and programme leader, from the School of Architecture and Construction, will carry out the induction training.

The Diploma in Social Science (Occupational Health & Safety) meets the IOSH requirements and is at par with the NVQ4. This means that those who possess this diploma and who have gained substantial knowledge, skills and experience in OSH are eligible to embark on this B.Sc.
Other options for admission are a degree or equivalent in an appropriate science or engineering subject or professional qualifications with relevant experience in the OSH field.
However, each student will be assessed on his/her merits by the School of Architecture and Construction.
