BirdLife Malta will open the Ghadira Nature Reserve to the public on Monday.

BirdLife said the reserve is an ideal place for a family outing, where birds in the wild and local flora at its best can be appreciated in the springtime.

The society's volunteers will be present to assist visitors.

The reserve is usually closed during weekdays. On Monday it will open from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Nature walks with BirdLife Malta's volunteers will take place along the nature trail every 45 minutes. Entrance is free of charge and no booking is necessary.
