BERNARD. On April 4, at Baerum Hospital, Oslo, to Camilla and Jean Paul, God's precious gift of a first-born daughter - LOUISA.

BUSUTTIL. On March 28, at Karin Grech Hospital Maternity Wing, to Francesca née Curmi and David, God's precious gift of a daughter -CRISTINA, a most welcome sister to Luke. CARABOTT. On March 19, at Karin Grech Hospital Maternity Wing, to Selina née Spiteri and Pierre, God's precious gift of a second son - JULIAN, brother to Jacob. Special thanks to the staff, our families, Mandy and Nikki for their much appreciated help.

DRAGO. On April 6, in Dublin, Ireland, to Deirdre née Foley and Patrick, a first-born son - FIONN PATRICK, a grandson to Mairin and Henry. Deo gratias.

FARRUGIA. On March 21, at St James Hospital, Zabbar, to Dorianne née Bonello and Patrick, God's precious gift of a daughter - MARIAH. Special thanks to the obstetrician, midwife Mariella Abela Camilleri and all the staff for their special care and dedication.

GAUCI PERESSO. On March 25, at St James Hospital, Zabbar, to Daniela Peresso and Michael Gauci, God's precious gift of a son - CRISPIN, a welcome brother to Clement. Special thanks to the obstetrician, midwife Anna Croucher and childbirth educator Marianne Theuma.

MANGION. On April 1, at Karin Grech Hospital Maternity Wing, to Danielle née Vella and Patrick, God's precious gift of a first-born daughter - EMMA. Special thanks to midwife Nathalie Craus and all the staff at the maternity ward.

MATTOCKS. On April 2, at Karin Grech Hospital Maternity Wing, to Carmen née Pace and Claude, God's precious gift of a beautiful, first-born son - LENNY. Thanks be to God, Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St Jude. Special thank to the medical staff on duty.

RAIHANI. On March 27, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Mary née Ouranitsa and Adil, God's precious gift of a first-born son - ZOIS THEODOROS. Thanks to our obstetrician, the paediatrician and all the excellent staff at the maternity ward for making the birth of our son a sacred memory to cherish forever.

SADOVA. On March 29, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Oksana and Christopher, God's precious gift of a daughter - YULIA, sister to Dylan Borg. Thanks to all the hospital staff.

URPANI. On April 6, at St James Hospital, Sliema to Christina née Galea and Edgar, God's precious gift of a daughter - FAYE, a sister to Ella. Thanks to the midwife Carmen Scerri, the obstetrician and all the staff at the hospital.

Marriages

Mr HANS KRISTIAN HAUGE and Ms JOANNA BUGEJA The marriage took place on April 8 at Sta Lucija parish church, between KRISTIAN, son of Hans Erik and Anne Britt Hauge of Hokksund, Norway, and JOANNA, daughter of Victor and Marlene Bugeja of Marsascala. Mass was celebrated by Fr Charles Cordina. The ceremony was witnessed by Jens Westby and Sharon Sultana. The bride was attended by her sister, Christine, as maid of honour, while Frøde Sørensen carried out the duties of best man. A reception was held at the Corinthia Palace Hotel, Attard. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Scotland. Another celebration will be held in Norway this summer.

Obituary

FENECH. On April 7 at St Luke's Hospital, SONNIE, aged 82, passed peacefully away comforted by rites of Holy Church. He leave to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his children Marvic and her husband Charles Grixti, Joseph and his wife Helen, and Mark, his beloved grandchildren Philip, Daniela, Jonathan, Rachel, Reuben and Rebekah, his sisters-in law, nephews, nieces and their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 1.45 p.m. for Attard parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30, followed by interment at Mosta Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be appreciated. God, grant him eternal rest.

LEAN. Suddenly, at home, on March 10, PHILIP ARTHUR of Hartford, Cambridgeshire, UK, aged 55. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Vivien née Cefai, his son Edward and daughter Francesca, his parents, his brother and his wife and all his in-laws and their families in Malta. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SAYDON. On April 8, at St Luke's Hospital, JOSEPH, widower of Marianna née Camilleri, aged 79, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Frances and her husband Victor Borg, Catherine and her husband Emanuel Zammit, Michelle and her husband Lawrence Mintoff, Melita and her husband John Borg and Vincent and his wife Nadia, his grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, Sr Consolata Saydon of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus, Sr Maximilla of the Suore di Maria Bambina, of Milan, Sr Beatrice and Sr Bernadette, Discalced Carmelite Nuns, Horace, Emanuel, Charlie, Peter and Doris, his in-laws, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2.30 p.m. for St Catherine's parish church, Zurrieq, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at Zurrieq Cemetery. ZAMMIT TABONA. On April 3, MARIA CARMELA (k/a May), née Azzopardi Guerriera, of St Julian's, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her deep loss her beloved husband Joe, her daughter-in-law Anna, widow of her son John, her beloved grandchildren Raffaella and Andrea, her in-laws Lewis and Joan, and Lilian and Alec, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. The funeral took place last Wednesday. Her spirit is with God who gave it to her.

SCICLUNA, OFM, went to meet the Risen Lord, 9.4.86. Always remembered by the Franciscan Fathers, his family, and especially the Camilleri family. Masses for the repose of his soul are being said in various churches.
