The registered unemployed last November amounted to 7,193, the National Statistics Office said yesterday.

There was a drop of 368 persons in the labour supply over the same month in the previous year, the result of an increase of 564 persons in the gainfully occupied population and a decrease of 932 persons on the unemployment register.

This meant the labour supply stood at 145,605 during that month: the gainfully occupied population amounted to 138,412 and the registered unemployed to 7,193.
