New partner at firm

KPMG Malta, the local practice of the global professional services firm, has appointed Juanita Bencini as a partner within the advisory services function with responsibility for the firm's regulatory and compliance advisory service line.

Ms Bencini holds a degree in Accountancy and a Masters in Financial Services from the University of Malta. She joined KPMG in 2000 from the Malta Stock Exchange and is active on several committees of the Malta Institute of Accountants, having also been the assistant editor and editor of the journal issued by the MIA for six years up to 2005.
