The new design concept behind HSBC Malta's credit and debit cards seeks to prove the slogan that it is indeed The World's Local Bank.

Following an HSBC Group decision to change the look and feel of credit and debit cards in all the countries where it operates, HSBC Malta has become the first bank within the entire group to adopt new designs. The result is the Malta Collection, a set of credit and debit cards featuring images of Malta and Gozo.

With immediate effect, HSBC Bank Malta will issue the new-look Quikcash, Classic Visa, Quikcash Gold and Visa Gold cards to customers applying for new cards and/or when the replacement of new cards falls due. The new look Mastercard credit card will be available shortly.

"HSBC is the world's local bank and our operation in Malta is truly Maltese. These new credit and debit cards show the beauty of Malta and Gozo. Our customers will be able to take a little bit of Malta everywhere with them be it in Malta or when traveling abroad. The message behind these cards is clear: We're proud to be Maltese," said HSBC Bank Malta's head of personal financial services, Godfrey Swain.
