President on Mosta visits

Voluntary organisations create an identity within the locality and reflect that of society, President Eddie Fenech Adami said when he met 27 such groups in Mosta.

Dr Fenech Adami, who had the opportunity to listen to the representatives explain their work within the community, said he felt it was his duty as President to be close to the people.

He expressed his satisfaction at the number of people who attended the meeting on Thursday, adding that this was an indication that Mosta had a living community.

Dr Fenech Adami and Mrs Fenech Adami will meet Mosta residents tomorrow to conclude his visits there.
