\nThis was an interesting title-deciding clash which offered high-quality handball to those present at the University Sports Complex.
The first half saw two very equal sides battling it out on court. It was Aloysians who had the upperhand for the first 20 minutes of the match until La Salle stepped up a gear and started piling the pressure on their opponents to end the half 16-11 ahead.
The second half offered a different story as La Salle took full control of the proceedings and crushed Aloysians, managing at one point to have a 15-goal advantage. It was only when the gap was too wide to close that the defending champions again tried to force a reaction.
Thus a deserved win for La Salle Nexos who managed to take the APS National League title home at the expense of Aloysians ProMinent.

This proved to be a match which was only a minor test for Aloysians in their preparation for the decider against La Salle.
From the early minutes Aloysians took control, even though both teams were committing quite a few unforced errors. Aloysians ended the first half with a comfortable five-goal lead.
The second half saw a comeback bid from the D6 girls who are showing constant improvement. They tried their utmost to bridge the gap, but it was in vain. Aloysians wrapped up the points and now await the final direct encounter with La Salle which will decide the league this season.
