The other four teams still in the knock-out competition are Marsaxlokk, Hamrun Spartans, Msida St Joseph and Floriana. They had to play two extra rounds to reach the last eight.

Sliema, Birkirkara, Hibs and Valletta qualified straight to the quarter-finals thanks to their top-four position in the final league standings last season.

There will be no seeded teams at this stage. The draw will be transmitted live on Smash TV's MFA Magazine programme, starting at 6.30 p.m.

The 2005 final was contested by Birkirkara and Msida. The Stripes won the match 2-1.

The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend April 8 and 9.
