Nicolette Mifsud, 28, was yesterday charged with deliberately crashing her car into her estranged husband's BMW.

Mrs Mifsud pleaded not guilty to damaging a BMW belonging to Cedric and Mirelle Caruana in Sliema last Saturday. Four American tourists told the court they saw a woman drive her car into a parked BMW in which there was a man. The witnesses said she drove off before the man could do anything about it.

Police inspector Stephen Gatt prosecuted.

Lawyer Ramona Frendo appeared parte civile.
