The Times of March 21 carried a report about CHOGM's expenses and another about Sedqa's appeal for youth to participate more in society, in a message for National Youth Day.

A lot of money was spent on the Commonwealth meeting whereas, for instance, the Malta Chess Federation rents a room in Sliema the size of a route bus! Players' participation is often restricted due to lack of space. Other active sports clubs are in the same predicament.
