Hungry for a cause

The Tal-Kaptan Restaurant at the Suncrest Hotel, Qawara, will be donating 25c in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust Fund, on a selection of pizzas till October.

The Suncrest has committed itself to assisting in the fund-raising efforts towards international research into cystic fibrosis - a life-threatening condition affecting a number of people whose lifespan does not usually exceed 31 years.

"In donating 25c on a selection of pizzas sold at Tal-Kaptan, the Suncrest is making a tangible pledge towards finding a cure and helping all those suffering from this debilitating condition, especially children like five-year-old Francesca Falzon, who unfortunately suffers from CF," Philippe Lonfat, the Suncrest Hotel's new CEO, said.

Mr Lonfat added that he believes that this was an unobtrusive, but effective, way of expressing the Suncrest's commitment towards a better society - and he was sure the public would endorse this very valid cause.
