Domestica clinches Madliena Village joinery contract

Madliena Village, the development in the valley between Madliena and Gharghur, has awarded a major joinery contract to Domestica Ltd.

All internal doors in the development are to be manufactured at the Domestica Ltd factory in Attard from solid Iroko wood and stained a lovely warm colour. They will be installed complete with stainless steel hinges and handles.

Apart from the internal doors, Domestica will also be manufacturing the main doors and wooden balconies.

Speaking on the award of the contract, Chris Vassallo Cesareo, director of Domestica, said the company has continued to work in the furniture-making sector, despite having expanded in other areas of the business.

"Domestica is proud to have been in the furniture business for the past 35 years and our skilled craftsmen produce high quality work both for large contracts like this and also for custom-designed specialist projects like offices and retail outlets.

"The Madliena Village project is a long-term investment and we are prepared to give all the support that is needed to ensure the work is carried out to a high standard and delivered on time."
