It seems that some parishioners attending Holy Mass on Sundays at the Mellieha parish church think they have a right to park their vehicles in the parish square in a free-for-all fashion.

When all parking slots available on the square are taken up, they simply form one or two parking lanes, obstructing vehicles within the authorised parking slots. During the 50-minute wait I've had to endure, waiting for the wrongdoers to come out of church, passers-by told me such contravention is the order of the day on Sundays, especially during the 11 o'clock Mass.

If this is a regular defiance of the law, I wonder why no action is being taken by the appropriate authority.
