Off-spinner Shaun Udal took four wickets to help England win the final test against India by 212 runs and square the three-match series 1-1.

The 37-year-old bowler took the wickets of Sachin Tendulkar (34), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (five), Harbhajan Singh (six) and Munaf Patel (one) after lunch on the fourth day to help bowl out India for 100.

The hosts lost their last seven wickets for just 25 runs while crashing to defeat 75 minutes after lunch.

India had won the second test in Mohali, while the first test in Nagpur ended in a draw.

Scores: England (400 and 191) beat India (279 and 100).
