The Journal of Anglo-Italian Studies, Volume 8 has been published. This contains some of the papers delivered at the Fifth International Conference on "England and Italy: Literary and Cultural Relations" organised by the Institute of Anglo-Italian Studies at the University.

This interdisciplinary journal, under the general editorship of Professor Peter Vassallo, head of the Department of English and Director of the University's Institute of Anglo-Italian Studies, is published by Malta University Publishers and printed by PEG. The Journal is devoted to current research in the history of cultural relations between England and Italy from 1300 to the present. Articles focus on cross-cultural literary and historical studies as well as on related disciplines such as History of Art and Architecture. The new volume has been edited by Patricia Ellul-Micallef.
