I don't see the reason for all this fuss about a project which should be beneficial for all Sliema and non-Sliema residents.

I only ask the Sliema residents what their reaction would be if they had to endure a recycling plant, two power stations, a gas/fuel depot, etc. Unfortunately, this is what the residents of Paola, Fgura, Marsa, Marsascala and the nearby areas get as 'investment'.

We thank God that the SmartCity will be in the south - maybe we will have something to look at.

And what about parking? I kindly ask the ministry concerned to relocate the investment from Sliema to Paola so that we get the much needed parking spaces in Paola and leave the so-called garden in Qui-si-sana to local residents.
