A shirt stretch of road in St Anthony Street, Bugibba, is closed to traffic for no valid reason.

This has resulted in discrimination between residents and shop owners living at the top end of the street and those living at the bottom end.

Ambulances, fire engines and delivery trucks have no access to half the residents and shop owners.

This discrimination is causing much hardship and distress, especially to the elderly and the disabled.

All that the authorities need to do is remove all bollards, paint double yellow lines, deploy wardens to fine offenders, and tow away illegally parked cars.

It is not illegal to discriminate against tax-paying, law-abiding citizens living in this small area?
