I act on behalf of Bernard J. Schranz of 40, Vittorio Cassar Street, Birkirkara and refer to the notice published on March 11 in which it was stated that my client "is no longer in the employment of Planet Soft Ltd" and that he is "not authorised to represent it".

May I draw the attention of readers that my client was never employed by Planet Soft Ltd and that, in any case, he had severed any association with the said company of his own choice since July 4, 2005 and has not since then ever purported to represent the said company.

Readers will therefore certainly appreciate that such a notice was completely unwarranted and that it was simply aimed at tarnishing the reputation of my client.

In view, of this, my client reserves the right to take any legal action both against the advertiser as well as against The Times.
