Ambulance drivers are suffering from physical and mental pressure because there are no ambulances to replace others which break down, the Union Haddiema Maghqudin said yesterday.

In a letter to the Health Division, the union said that because of the number of years they have been in use as well as the amount of work they do, it was inevitable for ambulances to break down.

The union said unless this situation was rectified it would have to take action, including industrial action.
