The Malta Charities Association has presented Lm6,500 to the Sedqa agency towards the Komunita' Santa Marija in order to enhance the quality of the service given at the rehabilitation centre.

Komunita' Santa Marija is a service aimed at helping individuals with a history of drug abuse to re-integrate into society by adopting new skills and values.

Sedqa, the National Agency Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse, also provides care services to people requiring help related to alcohol abuse. For more information, the public can call the Helpline on 151 or visit the agency's website at www.sedqa.gov.mt.
