Pontifical concelebrated Mass will be led by Bishop Mario Grech at 9 a.m.

At 4 p.m., solemn vespers will be led by parish priest Fr Ignatius Borg, after which Fr Roberto Gauci will deliver the panegyric.

The St Gregory Band, under the direction of Mro Mark Gauci, will then play marches at the parish centre. It will also accompany the procession, which ends at the parish church with the antiphon, a sacramental blessing and veneration of the relic.

¤ A pilgrimage from Xaghra and Nadur parishes to Ta' Pinu Sanctuary will be held today at 2.30 p.m. Mass, with the participation of both parishes, will be celebrated at 3.

¤ Bishop Mario Grech will be paying a pastoral visit to Qala from Thursday to Saturday. On Saturday at 6 p.m. the bishop leads a concelebrated Mass at the parish church with priests who are celebrating the 45th anniversary of their ordination.

¤ A lecture on 'The Names of the Towns and Villages of Gozo' will be held by Wirt Ghawdex at the Gozo Ministry Hall in Victoria on Friday at 6.30 p.m. Dr Joe Zammit Ciantar will give the lecture in English. Entrance is free.

¤ A prayer meeting in preparation of Holy Week is being held for the Chorus Ecclesiae Cathedralis and the Cathedral Youth Choir on Friday at 7 p.m. A dinner at San Andrea Hotel, Xlendi, will follow.
