The Tarxien Pageant Group will present Salvator Mundi (The Saviour of the World) a Passion pageant, at the Circolo San Gwann Bosco, Tarxien between April 9 and 12 at 7.45 p.m.

The Tarxien Pageant Group was formed in 1975 by a group of youths under the leadership of Doris and Harry Farrugia and Charles Garcia. They have staged pageants at the Tarxien parish church and in other parish churches such as those of Mellieha, Safi, Birkirkara (St Helen), Ghaxaq and Mgarr, as well as in the Augustinian chapels of Mater Boni Consilii, in Paceville, and St Nicholas, in Tarxien.

"Instead of holding the Passion pageants in the church, today we hold them in the open air grounds of the Circolo San Gwann Bosco," a group spokesman said.
