MCAST marathon raises Lm41,000

The Vodafone Malta Foundation donated Lm5,000 to the Razzett tal-Hbiberija during this week's 36-hour MCAST Razzett Marathon of Hair & Beauty.

The marathon raised a total of Lm41,129.70 and will be used to help the over 1,000 children and adults who benefit from complimentary services offered daily at the Razzett in Marsascala.

Held between Sunday and Monday, the marathon was organised by lecturers and students of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology.

The Razzett tal-Hbiberija needs Lm300,000 a year to run its disability programmes.
