I refer to the letter Misleading Traffic Signs (March 4).

The Malta Transport Authority wishes to clarify that the parking scheme approved in Mellieha by the steering committee for the creation of resident parking schemes was for a time period of 60 minutes in parts of Borg Olivier Street.

The implementation of the signs and management of the scheme was the responsibility of the local council.
