I have just had a very serious operation at St Luke's Hospital and feel I must thank all those involved. A special mention is due to neurosurgeon Antoine Zrinzo, whose care and commitment is outstanding. As is the dedication of Joseph Farrugia Agius, all the staff members at the neurosurgery unit (NSU), physiotherapists and nurses.

I have never seen such a dedicated staff offer so much care and support not only to the patients but also to their family members and any other visitors.

Such work should be commended and emulated.

Keep up the standards. We all have something to be proud of!
