Junior Chamber International Malta has just held its first members' meeting for this year in order to give an overview of its wide range of projects and events for 2006, both locally and internationally.
JCI Malta president Elaine Tabone Adami spoke about the organisation's role within a local and international perspective. She also referred to her recent visit to the European Development Council in Vilnius, Lithuania, where she was accompanied by immediate past president Karl Farrugia Wismayer.
The local organisation's main projects this year include the best business plan competition, the business networking event, the outstanding young person award and the upcoming team-building training session by a professional foreign JCI trainer on March 25.
JCI Malta is affiliated to Junior Chamber International, a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 40.
JCI promotes the advancement of the global community and the creation of positive change. The federation has over 200,000 active members worldwide and millions of alumni participating in projects and events.
