What exactly is taking place at Mellieha Bay? Apparently, the rocky part of the beach which is found between the two sandy beaches is going to be laid with turf. Such an embellishment is not a bad idea if it were to be enjoyed by the public at large.

Apparently, the rocky part of the beach which is found between the two sandy beaches is going to be laid with turf. Such an embellishment is not a bad idea if it were to be enjoyed by the public at large. But what if it is to be yielded, as yet another beach concession, to some entrepreneur?

This bit of unadulterated beach is, or should I say was, very popular with those who like myself, prefer to enjoy a swim in the beautiful jade coloured waters without totally submitting themselves to the sandy dunes. I, therefore, on behalf of the many Maltese families who frequent this spot would like to demand an early confirmation from the authorities concerned that we are not going to be deprived of our right to use this strip of rocky beach.
