The Nationalist Party's executive committee has decided to hold the next PN general council in Gozo on April 1 and 2.

For the first council in Gozo since 1999, the PN will present a document detailing the party's work in the last year and a discussion will follow on its plans.

A total of 13 district meetings, led by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi, were held in preparation for the general council.

The first session will kick off with an administrative report tabled by the general secretary and will be addressed by Deputy Prime Minister Tonio Borg. Dr Gonzi will close the council.
