Dogs make it to the top

The Samoyed, Ch. Roybridge Silva Nemesis belonging to Victor Gatt won the Best Dog in Show in the Canine Society's winter championship show held at the Cottonera Sports Complex.

Reserve Best In Show went to Diane Sant Fournier's Pekingese, Ch. Kansai A Dangerous Boy. Robin Sadler judged over 200 dogs representing 44 breeds.

The society is a founder member of the Maltese National Canine Federation which is responsible for the registrations and issues of pedigrees of dogs on the island. The next Championship Dog Show is being organised by the Ladies Kennel Association, another federation affiliate, at the Cottonera Sports Complex on April 1 and 2.
