"A lot of people are talking about it but no one has approached me. However, it's always nice that people talk about you in this way," he said.
Roberto Carlos: Real Madrid full back Roberto Carlos has defended himself and his team-mates against criticism about their attitude from out-going president Florentino Perez and his successor Fernando Martin. "I've been at this club 10 years and I haven't been spoiled," he said. "We are players who have a high-profile image and we make a lot of money for the club. I think I deserve what I earn."
Security Measures: Paris St Germain announced increased security measures for today's game against Marseille in an effort to calm the visitors' safety fears. Marseille named a list of substitutes and reserves to play at Parc des Princes. Seven rows of seats will be left empty between the two levels of the stands to separate the Paris and the Marseille fans and more security personnel will be posted there.
Blatter: FIFA president Sepp Blatter called for fair play from Chelsea and Barcelona when they meet in what is expected to be a highly-charged Champions League match at the Nou Camp on Tuesday. "I hope the match in Barcelona goes ahead in a manner of fair-play," said Blatter, "and I hope that is so for all matches."
Placente: Celta Vigo's Argentine defender Diego Placente is expected to be out of action for between four and six weeks after undergoing surgery on a knee cartilage injury on Friday. He sustained the injury in his side's 2-0 victory against Cadiz last weekend.
