McDonald's Malta has recognised 18 managers for the dedication and commitment they have shown the company over the past 10 years. Those honoured started their employment with McDonald's in 1995 as crew members, and today all hold management positions in the organisation.
The awards were presented at a recent senior management event during which the 70-strong McDonald's management team were briefed on the company's direction and vision for 2006.
The event was held last month at InterContinental Malta and prizes were presented by Melo Hili, managing director of McDonald's Malta, and John Correia, chief executive officer of McDonald's Malta.
Mr Hili said that "long service recognition continues to be an important part of the human resource approach of McDonald's. The company treasures its people and it is our people vision that defines what we strive to be as an employer.
"Simply put, as McDonald's, we aspire to be the best employer in each community that we operate in around the world. In this light, we thank these 18 individuals for the 10 years of hard work, service and dedication to our company. They are a key part of the success that makes us Malta's favourite family restaurant."
