It has been reported that some 305 people who do not reside in Sliema signed the petition against the underground car park at Qui-Si-Sana. I would very much like to ask these people on what grounds are they opposed to the construction of a new car park.

When the parking situation in Sliema gets worse, what do they plan to do to go to Sliema, take the bus, spend ages to find a parking slot or may be go elsewhere?

Could it be they are happy to park in the Sliema streets, taking up the precious parking space of residents and generally making our life that much more difficult?

Just because some residents on the Qui-Si-Sana front are against the car park, it does not mean that everybody else has to be against it!
