Ainsley Harriot, the UK television's chef and presenter, will be in Malta for this year's Mediterranean Food Festival being held over seven days between Thursday and Sunday and March 10 to 12 at the Eden Arena, in St Julians.
Mr Harriot will be presenting two programmes which are being called Let's Cook With Ainsley, each of a one-hour duration, the first on March 11 and the second on March 12.
During the shows, local TV personalities will be assisting Maltese chefs to prepare dishes in 20 minutes with the ingredients presented by the personalities themselves.
Tickets are on sale at the Eden Arena or Eden Leisure box office, St. Julian's at the price of Lm5 per person. Only limited seats are available.
Mr Harriot will be judging an amateur competition, Il-Kcina Tan-Nanna, where contestants from different walks of life who have the kitchen and traditional Maltese cuisine at heart, will compete against each other by preparing traditional Maltese dishes.
During the festival, Mr Harriot will dedicate time to meet the public and will also sign his cooking books which will be on sale at the festival hall.
