A cultural trail on the Italian baroque era painter Mattia Preti will be held on March 18.

It will start with a visit to the Zurrieq parish church followed by a stop at St John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta and concluding at the National Museum of Fine Arts also in Valletta. An expert will talk about Preti's life and achievements.

Participation is restricted to 50 persons. Transport by coach will leave Valletta at 9 a.m. and tickets, available at Heritage Malta's head office in Valletta cost Lm4 each. For further information call 2295 4000.
