Man stabbed in Paceville

A man was injured in Paceville after he tried to stop a fight, the police said.

The 22-year-old Msida man was struck by a pointed object, possibly a penknife, early yesterday morning.

An ambulance took the man to hospital where his condition was described as serious but stable.

The police are investigating.
