A 27-year-old man was yesterday charged with tampering with Melita Cable equipment and illegally accessing the company's services at his house.

Clint Bianco, of Luqa, pleaded not guilty to tampering with the equipment to the detriment of Melita Cable on and before January 2004.

Police Inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted.

Lawyer Gavin Gulia appeared for Mr Bianco and lawyer Robert Abela represented the company.
