Accused of threatening to kill his wife

A Birzebbuga man was yesterday charged with threatening to kill his wife.

The 33-year-old man pleaded not guilty to threatening his wife and breaching the peace on Wednesday.

He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm1,000.

Police Inspector Kevin Farrugia prosecuted.

Lawyer Michael Tanti-Dougall was defence counsel.
