A 26-year-old woman was charged with trying to seriously injure another woman with a knife and slightly injuring her.

Claire Borg, of Sliema, pleaded not guilty to trying to seriously injure Karen Spagnol last summer, slightly injuring her and with being in illegal possession of a knife.

Police Inspector Daniel Zammit prosecuted.

Lawyers Roberto Montalto and Josè Herrera appeared for the woman.
