I would like to express my solidarity with the newly installed Bishop of Gozo who, during a recent television programme, gave us a living witness of humility when confronted with questions by children who, besides showing their ignorance of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, asked the questions arrogantly and with an absolute lack of respect towards the person himself and the office he occupies.

I augur that the attitude of arrogance and disrespect is neither a legacy of the children's parents nor a heroic replication by the children of an attitude that is becoming the "benchmark" of some chat programmes.
